Program Manager

Location- Austin, Texas, US

Job description :

As a program manager, you will be responsible for the key development of aerospace elements of assigned propulsion systems. These aerospace elements will play a critical role in the system performance and match our company's broader objectives. Customer requirements, business adaptation, technologies, and project planning will be the key responsibilities of this position. 

Core responsibilities :

    • Project planning and management
    • Technical & IP adaptation and implementation
    • Financial projection and risk mitigation
    • Project validation, technical validation, and project governance
    • Project delivery timeline compliance
    • Customer requirement compliance
    • Leading and communicating with large teams

Qualifications/Requirements :

    • Business, Aerospace Engineering - 
       (Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience)

    • Program management skill-set, vision, and innovative management activities experience in aviation or related industries
    • Communication and explanatory with project stakeholders and customer management skills
    • Vision and commitment ability to work under minimum governance situations
    • Ability to work under the timeline 
    • Ease in management of multiple projects
    • Multi-domain critical and innovative problem solving
    • Financial management 
    • Leadership and team guidance 
    • Ability to travel global travel on demand
    • Collaboration and innovation nurture
    • US Citizenship 

Desired Characteristics :

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • PMI or PMP or Six-sigma skill-set certified
    • Office application knowledge such as MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Ability to influence others at all levels
    • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
    • Quicker problem solving and implementation
    • Proven analytical and organizational ability
    • Technical background in Aerospace/Aviation
    • Ability to manage work priorities on a day-to-day basis to meet overall team, functional, and business priorities
